Horror Extreme Blog - Werewolves Should Stick to London

This evening I watched An American Werewolf in Paris, I had quite high hopes for this movie as An American Werewolf in London was a classic, unfortunately "In Paris" didn't quite reach the high standards of its predecessor.

The storyline was quite weak (it was based upon an underground community of werewolves and some unlucky tourists), the humour was still there (but not as sharp as the original), a few moments of good gore and loads of over-the-top CGI wolf transformations. I think it was another case of the director thinking that loads of effects would make up for the weakness of the rest of the movie.

The highlight of the movie was the ghostly, dead, wolf-victim's eye popping out.

I'd recommend you watch it if you were a fan of the former incarnation... but I doubt you’d watch it again.
