I've seen various interpretations of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliette" but was totally blown away by "Tromeo and Juliette". I'm not sure if this movie fits in the horror genre, but I don't know where else it would fit!
It follows the basic Shakespeare plot but manages to portray it in a completely sick and gory way (usual Troma movie style), mixed with the usual Troma slapstick comedy and bad-taste this made for a highly amusing (and disturbing) story!
I won't go into the details of the storyline, you’ll just have to watch it (if you think you can stomach it). In summary it’s low budget, explicit horror-comedy interspersed with the poetry of The Bard. I think what I'm trying to say is it's just plain f**ked up!
