Horror Extreme Blog - The Reincarnation of Asian Horror

"Reincarnation" is one damn spooky Asian horror movie directed by Takashi Shimizu who is more famous for "Ju-On: The Grudge and who seems to be churning out quality horror movies at the moment.

The story takes place 35 years after a horrific bloodbath happened in a hotel when a man killed his family and a number of staff and guests. A director is making a movie based on the killings and his lead actress is getting a bit too much into character and seems to be reliving the nightmare.

The scariest bit in this movie for me is the horrible ugly little doll that the daughter of the murderer carries around. It's so ugly and keeps appearing where you wouldn’t expect it. The doll’s part in the movie becomes quite full-on at the end and… well... it freaked me out.

The plot is very interesting and is executed in a way so each new twist is a surprise. Reincarnation is not that gory or violent but I guarantee that if you watch it late a night in the dark you will definitely realize the horror!
