Wow... they're milking the f**k out of the Toxic Avenger. "Citizen Toxie - The Toxic Avenger IV "claims to be THE REAL sequel to Toxie's first outing and claims the other two were crap... I can't comment on this as I haven't seen them! Once again I'm watching my Troma movies in completely the wrong order.. but it sounds like the makers wanted me to this time.
This time Toxie is transported to a parallel dimension and replaced in the current dimension by his evil (very evil) twin when an explosion in a school for "special children" triggers some space-time-temporal-flux (or whatever they’d say in Star Trek), and yes, I said "special children" so expect the usual lack of political-correctness.
There's masses of gore, over the top characters, sex, nakedness and retards. What more could you want in a movie!
I do enjoy the Troma comedies, I really admire the no-holds barred attitude but I must admit that apart from "Bloodsucking Freaks" these movies are a bit cookie-cutter.
