Horror Extreme Blog - I Think I May Have Blown a Horror Fuse

A friend lent me "Guinea Pig - Flower of Flesh and Blood" and I don’t think any horror movie will ever shock me again. It's a 1985 Japanese short horror movie (it's only about 45 minutes long), the only element of storyline is a girl being abducted at the beginning. The rest of the movie is the slow and detailed torture and dismemberment of the girl by a weirdo dressed as a samurai.
For a 1985 movie the horror effects are absolutely top notch... apparently Charlie Sheen watched this movie and reported it to the FBI as a genuine snuff movie, the makers then had the arduous task of proving that the special effects were indeed "just very special". (Come on though Charlie... do you really think someone could survive disembowelment!)
If you are a serious horror fan you must watch this movie. It takes a sick and twisted mind to even come up with the concept of making a 45 minute horror scene, the samurai nutter is an excellent character and the special effect are really convincing.
I think there are about seven of the Guinea Pig movies but this is the one that caused the most controversy so it must be the best. WATCH IT NOW!
