"Terror Firmer" is one f**ked up movie... even for a Troma Production! One of the first scenes is a pregnant woman being mugged for her baby (yes the one she's pregnant with). It's the slapstick comedy kind of horror that I have come to expect for Troma movies but this one really pushes the limits of decency.
It's set on the set of the "Toxic Avenger IV" (like a horror movie in a horror movie) and actually stars Lloyd Kaufman as the blind director (and he directs the actual movie) and I suppose is as close to a whodunit as Troma will ever get. I'm starting to confuse myself now trying to explain the storyline, and as the storyline isn't an important factor in the movie I'll stop.
If you like crappy horror from Troma like the "Toxic Avenger" and "Class of Nuke 'Em High" then you'll love this... but I expect most people will hate it. Personally I love the over-the-topness, the cynicism, the self mockery and of course... the masses of gore.
