Horror Extreme Blog - The Third Mother

After anticipating the third part of Dario Argento's Three Mothers Trilogy for almost 18 years I was not sure what I was expecting. I'd got past the exited stage after the release date kept moving and to be honest I'd forgotten about it, hence I've only just seen it.

It was good although it did not have the impact that Suspiria had, as I started to watch the movie I was beginning to expect a Hollywood-ised disappointment but within minutes I was treated to some Argento gore, at which point I became more interested. This movie gives you everything that you would expect from an Argento movie although I think The Mother of Tears was the weakest of the trilogy but only because the two previous movies were such a high standard. I'll give it another watch.

But now I'm of to watch Splatter: Naked Blood.
