Roy Scheider

'Roy Richard Scheider' (November 10, 1932 – February 10, 2008) was an American actor. He is best known for his role as police chief Martin Brody in Jaws, his role as Joe Gideon in All That Jazz, and as detective Sonny Grosso in The French Connection.
