'Tristine Skyler' (born July 27 1971) is an American actress and writer. She grew up in New York City and attended Princeton University. She has performed on television, in the movies as well as in the theater. She is currently working on a movie adaptation of Sylvia Plath's The Bell Jar, which will star Julia Stiles as Esther Greenwood. Her most high profile project is perhaps Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2. Her other credits include the feature film Getting to Know You (which she also co-wrote), based on short stories by Joyce Carol Oates, which played at the Sundance and Venice Film Festivals. Skyler is the author of the play "The Moonlight Room",, which premiered at the TriBeCa Playhouse in 2003 before being performed Off-Broadway at the Beckett Theater on Theater Row. It was named one of the 'Ten Best Plays of the Year' by The New York Times and The New York Post.
