Well, it's flower power in the tower as four swingin' hippies land on Snape island for some good old fashioned groovin'. The clothes soon fly off and the fun begins. Oh no! There's a crazy killer among the hepcats! This trip is about to nosedive into bummerville, man! TOWER OF EVIL is a wonderful 70s opus of hippies, murder, and (heavens above) gratuitous nudity. Can a team of archeologists get to the bottom of the mystery massacre, or will they too be slaughtered by the hideous, giggling inhabitant of Snape island? I really enjoy this movie. I have to watch it every once in a while, along w/ HORROR HOSPITAL for a double dose of delirious delight...

This is a GORY, ahead of it's time SLASH flick with a series
of br00tal muders committed on a misty island off the coast
of England. Complete with nude sex scenes;BLOODY imaginative murders;
a disfigured,Cropsy(THE BURNING)like killer;and a twist ending(Blackshere
will love it)this could have been the Friday the 13th of it's day
if it hadn't been released in the U.S.in a drastically cut 85min
version retitled HORROR ON SNAPE ISLAND?!? This is a good HORROR
flick and worth a look. Also know as Beyond the Fog(a cash in at the
time to make you think it was a sequel to J.C. The Fog..Though this
was years before it).
