Editorial Review - Amazon.com

Astral projection is the scary topic here, as Paul Sharp (Winston Rekert) delves into practicing it. He's an unsuccessful film director who looks for something new and finds Janus (the ever spooky Karen Black). Janus teaches him how to wander outside of his body, but some spirit seems intent on knocking off everyone that Paul loves. Paul's an unlikable slouch so it's his relatives that elicit the sympathy here, but they're doomed by the eternal evil. The answer to all of this is much more interesting than anticipated, and almost makes this thriller/horror film worth it. Almost. --Keith Simanton

In ETERNAL EVIL (aka: THE BLUE MAN), a man named Paul believes he can leave his body while he sleeps (through astral projection). Meanwhile, his friends and relatives begin dropping like flies! It seems that their hearts are exploding inside their chest cavities! A cop tries to uncover the truth about the mysterious deaths, which leads him to a rather bizarre woman named Janus (Karen Black) w/ a deadly secret. I like this movie, in spite of it's goofy 80s fashions and hairstyles. Give it a shot...
