A Customer Review by Kactus Kong
I took a Hitchcock film class in the summer and would have loved to have had this DVD then. It is a 2-disc set and features over 9 hours of Hitchcock films that are often difficult to find. This set has Blackmail (1929), The Lady Vanishes (1938), Rich and Strange (1932), Sabotage, (1936), Secret Agent (1936), and one of my all time Hitchcock favorites, The 39 Steps (which would later inspire Mr. and Mrs. Smith). Sabotage has one of the biggest build ups of Hitchcockian suspense ever as a boy is to unknowingly deliver a package that is actually a bomb. This is a must have for anyone interested in Hitchcock's early work. All films are B&W, however they are all sound films as Blackmail was his first film featuring sound.
